Julia Sidorova, PhD, earned her doctorate from Universidad Pompeu Fabra in 2010 and is currently serving as a Research Scientist at the Instituto Carlos III de Salud. Her research focuses on the comparison between classical data analysis and deep neural networks, particularly in understanding their suitability and limitations. She has authored more than 50 scientific articles, with research interests spanning machine learning, knowledge discovery, cognitive paralinguistics, and bioinformatics.
